Cosas que hacer cuando hace frío, llueve y es casi imposible salir a la calle. Pues a parte de ver pelis, leer y tejer, es un buen momento para pintar. Yo soy de a opinión que los niños deben a prender usar materiales reales cuando hacen alguna clase de manualidad. Siempre y cuando no sean tóxicos y mantengan las normas básicas de seguridad (comerse una pella de arcilla NO es seguro, modelar con ella SI, como ejemplo de seguridad 🙂 Esto les da una experiencia y una destreza plástica muy real y les enseña la responsabilidad en el uso de los materiales y útiles (limpiar y cuidar los pinceles, dejar secar la pintura en sus tiempos, hacer mezclas y ahorrar en materiales caros)
En casa, desde que mi hija es mas o menos madura, hemos usado mi material de bellas artes para pintar. A veces compro cosas expresamente para ella, pero otras tiramos de lo que hay en el estudio.
En esta ocasión, ella sugirió pintar retratos de familia (estamos trabajando en el cole el árbol genealógico). Así que sacamos el acrílico y unos lienzos muy divertidos en forma de triángulo que compré en el Lidl hace un tiempo.
Así que yo la pinté a ella, ella me pintó a mi y entre las dos retratamos a su padre. Aún nos quedan dos lienzos para retratar al hamster y a su muñeca favorita, pero esa será la segunda parte.

Family Portraits: Things to do when it’s cold, it’s raining and it’s almost impossible to go outside. As a part of watching movies, reading and knitting, is a good time to paint. I am of a view that children should use real materials to light when doing any kind of craft. Provided they are nontoxic and maintain basic safety standards (eat a lump of clay is not safe, modeling her if, as security example 🙂 This gives them an experience and a very real and plastic skill taught responsibility in the use of materials and supplies (brushes clean and care, let the paint dry in his time, to mix and save expensive materials)
At home, since my daughter is more or less mature, we used my Art Supplies for painting. Sometimes I buy things specifically for her, but others splurged on what’s in the study.
This time, she suggested painting portraits of family (we are working on the school’s family tree). So we get the acrylic paintings and some very funny in a triangle that I bought in Lidl a while ago.
So I painted it, she painted me and between the two portray his father. We still have two canvases to portray the hamster and her favorite doll, but this will be the second part.
